Who is the ‘Hero’? Court says Hero MotoCorp on 2-wheel electric vehicles

There were two Heroes, and each saw the other as the villain, so to speak. One of your battles is over. The legal fight between Hero MotoCorp and Hero Electric over the use of the ‘Hero’ trademark for electric vehicles (2 wheels) has a verdict.

An arbitration court appointed to resolve the dispute between two factions of the Munjal family group (which owns the various ‘Hero’ companies) has dismissed the application filed by the country’s largest EV (two-wheeled) manufacturer Hero Electric for an interim injunction against Hero MotoCorp for using the ‘Hero’ brand on their electric vehicles. Basically, the country’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, may use the ‘Hero’ brand to sell its upcoming electric vehicles.
